Towards a Useful and Kind Organisational Mark …

Duncan Fraser - Project Director

We are thrilled to be working with the University of Essex Business School to explore the feasibility of creating a Useful and Kind Organisational Mark.

We are working with a number of organisational partners, from a variety of sectors and of different scales, to help us to:

  • research and identify the key behaviours and approaches which help an organisation to be prosocial (balancing Self, Others and World)

  • create a community of organisations and leaders who are working towards this way of working (especially whilst establishing a ‘new normal’

  • assess the feasibility of creating an organisational Mark

  • define the benefits of such a mark

  • to pilot possible tools and interventions

  • to become early adopters and ambassadors of such a Mark

It is envisaged that the organisation mark will operate similarly to the developing U&K schools’ mark which is already being successfully implemented at the Primary level and is currently being researched and piloted for launching in Secondary schools .

When organisations register for the mark, they develop an action plan further to improve prosocial leadership in their organisation and become part of a community of people and ideas to support them on this journey.
